Ms. Andrews wraps up her student teaching...
The children and I were are so grateful that Ms. Andrews was able to spend the past few months in our classroom. She helped us grow and learn. We miss her already but wish her lots of luck for a wonderful future in teaching. We also can't wait to hear about her new baby, who is arriving this summer! She will make a terrific mom!
Drumlin Farm Field Trip
We had a great time on our field trip to Drumlin Farm. Special thanks to Mr. Tully, Mr. McCormack and Mrs. Hoadley for their help chaperoning. We learned more about a plant's life cycle, worked in the gardens and fields, saw the animals that rely on plants and learned about both helpful and harmful plants. We walked a lot, learned a lot and had A LOT of fun!

Poetry Show!
Do you know what it means to eat a poem? Ask your first grader!
We saw a great show this month and heard lots of great poems that were "eaten" and then performed by this man, David Zucker!
Thank you to the BPO for helping to bring Young Audiences here to the Batch so that we could see this amazing show!
