Purple (though she loves red and blue too)
Favorite things to do when she isn’t at school:
Playing with her kids, taking a dance class or taking/teaching spinning, watching a great football game (or 2 or 3) on Sundays, going to the beach
Interests:
Photography, reading, working out, dancing, writing, watching football, cheering on the Red Sox, cooking and baking
Food she likes:
Brunch dishes, pizza, most Mexican dishes, raspberry sorbet, Oreo ice cream, chocolate cake (well, anything chocolate!), watermelon, strawberries, Macoun apples in October, raspberries and green grapes! Unfortunately her food allergies have made eating a lot of these things (dairy, gluten and nuts) not possible lately!
Food she is less fond of:
Fish, green beans, Brussels sprouts and pie
Favorite books:
The Harry Potter series because it taught her how much fun reading can be
Koala Lou by Mem Fox because it is a great story about a mother’s love
The Fancy Nancy series because it was clearly written with her in mind!
We Are In A Book by Mo Willems because it is funny, funny, funny
Aunt Isabel Tells a Good One by Kate Duke because it is the one book her students always ask to read over and over
Plot Chickens by Mary Jane Auch because the line "The end, good story" becomes a running joke in room 18 every year

Dream Day Off:
Breakfast with the boys, a great workout, hanging at the beach with a good book, a manicure/pedicure and massage, dinner with Dave and the boys, bedtime stories and 8 hours of sleep!

- Performed at First Night in Boston
- Worked for a Boston advertising firm on the CVS Pharmacy campaign
- Danced in numerous local Nutcrackers and other productions
- Taught dance and choreographed for local dancers for 18 years
- Played on the Bay State Games volleyball team
- Was elected captain of her HS volleyball team
- Worked as editor of her high school newspaper
- Often has her pictures published in the North Reading Transcript
- Teaches workshops for other teachers
Ms. B's Hopes and Dreams:
- To write a children’s book
- To raise her children to be good citizens and husbands some day
- To be a grandmother (in the very distant future!)
- To inspire her students to be authors and publish a book someday
- To develop students who strive to be life long learners
- To have her students come back years later to tell her that they still love to read and write
